Interweaving art and nature, as experienced through the body, is part of what makes the Movement School
unique. Deep experiences in nature open our eyes to art, while moving experiences in art shape the way we see
nature. Both help us to appreciate the relationship between naturalness and beauty within the human form.
The Canyon Road Retreat House
Here are a few photos to give you a sense of what our Santa Fe Retreat House is
like.
There is an open teaching space and dining area.
There is a cozy living room/discussion room with a fireplace, and large skylights. There is
a second story porch overlooking the mountains, and a grape arbor to sit under on summer evenings.
Across Canyon Road is a spacious, grassy park, graced by old trees and picnic tables.
It is an ideal space for outdoor classes.
